So I have not been to the fair in years, but I was so sad that I did not get to go to the State Fair of Texas last year! I have actually never been to the State Fair, so it bummed me out to live so close and not get to go!! My family figured out that Texans took their fairs seriously when we moved to Amarillo and got a day off of school for "Fair Day!" Crazy stuff!! We usually did not attend the Tri-State Fair, but I always loved when it arrived in Amarillo because it meant that the weather was getting perfect!! So Big Tex, I will be seeing you sometime within the next month....even if I have to go to the State Fair by myself!!

HEY ALISIA, I LOVE YOUR BLOG. YOU ARE SOOOO FUNNY. TODAYS MAKES ME THINK OF THE YEAR WE TOOK MA TO THE OHIO STATE FAIR IN THE WHEEL CHAIR AND YOU, TODD & CHRISTOPHER KEPT WANTING TO PUSH AND RIDE. SHE DIDN'T WANT YOU TO. MAINLY BECAUSE ALL OF THOSE BIG OLD WIRES THEY HAD ACROSS THE WALK WAYS. YOU ALL WOULD TRY TO PUSH 100 MPH AND JOLT HER AROUND. I DON'T THINK SHE EVEN WANTED TO GO. BUT YOU KNOW PA. THAT ALSO MAKES ME THINK OF THE REACHER THING. REMEMBER WHEN SHE HAD HER HIP OP. THEY GAVE HER A PINCHER TO PICK THINGS UP WITH AND YOU ALL WANTED TO PLAY WITH IT. AND SHE WOULD HAVE SUCH A FIT. PA ALWAYS WANTED TO SIT IN THE HORSE SHOW ALL DAY.
MY FAVORITE POST IS THE ONE ABOUT YOUR NAME. I'VE TOLD LOTS OF PEOPLE ABOUT HOW HE USED TO CALL YOU RAMONO. THEY CRACK UP. AND PAPA ALWAYS CALLED YOU LISA. WE TALK ABOUT THAT ALL THE TIME. HE'D SAY LISA YOU HAVE YOUR OWN PERSONAL COMEDIAN DON'T YOU? AND CHRISTOPHER WOULD SAY HER NAME IS ALISIA PAPA, AND HE'D SAY YEAH LISA.
