So I have not been to the fair in years, but I was so sad that I did not get to go to the State Fair of Texas last year! I have actually never been to the State Fair, so it bummed me out to live so close and not get to go!! My family figured out that Texans took their fairs seriously when we moved to Amarillo and got a day off of school for "Fair Day!" Crazy stuff!! We usually did not attend the Tri-State Fair, but I always loved when it arrived in Amarillo because it meant that the weather was getting perfect!! So Big Tex, I will be seeing you sometime within the next month....even if I have to go to the State Fair by myself!!

you're not going by yourself! i've got free tickets, and i'm trying to get free ones for everyone! i've never been in my decade in texas, and this is our year!
